A paper for my Philosophy of Religion class on Dorothy Soelle's "A Critique of Christian Masochism," in which she claims that worshiping a [Christian] God who inexplicably inflicts suffering is tantamount to worshiping a sadistic executioner.
Loathe:
- waking up @ 7am and feeling so crappy that I went back back to bed and slept until 2pm, missing all my classes
- eating off of paper plates because our dishes are packed
- not being prepared for our group presentation next Friday
- getting accepted to present my senior thesis at a conference on Faith, Film, and Philosophy at Gonzaga University!

- cleaning up after a puppy who, I swear, is PURPOSEFULLY RESISTING potty training
- a scratch under the nosepad of my glasses (ouch!)
- having no furniture in my living room...or bedroom...or office...or kitchen
- my mom being so stressed out from work that every conversation with her is like walking on my hands through a minefield WHILE BLINDFOLDED
- the trailer for Twilight. Take one cheap, poorly written, melodramatic, teenage vampire book, add two attractive but dim actors and a splash of Pacific Northwest scenery= "Wow, I probably shouldn't be laughing this loud in a public venue"

What are you most looking forward to this weekend?
Lunch at Chile's on Saturday! Chicken Crispers=yum. This is the bright spot in a weekend that involves nothing but packing, moving, and studying.
I've had this song stuck in my head all day. Now, YOU CAN TOO. Star Trek fans, this one's for you.
Loathe:
- not being finished packing (we move THIS WEEKEND)
- Suma eating the houseplant (we have a hard enough time keeping it alive as it is)
- not being able to find anything because everything is in boxes
- eating everything off paper plates because our dishes are packed
- first picnic of the year!
- using my adorable grill
- playing on the playground
- spending time with Pahoehoe before she goes to Yellowstone
- the soundtrack to Once (did anyone else think that the music far outstripped the film?)
