What's on your "To-Do" list today? What are you most looking forward to and what are you most dreading?

To-Do:

• take last undergraduate final EVER
• pass last undergraduate final EVER- KICKED ITS ASS
• drop off last undergraduate library books
• sell back last undergraduate text books
• take shower
• help MIL clean shower for graduation party tomorrow
• hang up gown so it's not all wrinkly tomorrow
• read graduation packet again, so I'm not the girl who can't remember what to do at the ceremony (!)
• TAKE A LONG NAP
  

What's the oldest book you own?

All of my books are in storage right now (I miss you!), but I believe it's my copy of Stranger in a Strange Land, which was printed sometime in the 1970s (the edition that I have, at any rate. The book was first released in 1961). That or Stardance by Spider Robinson, which also came out sometime in the 70s.

And no, I'm not old enough to have purchased books in the 1970s. Thus the joy that is a used bookstore. Although--sidenote--my copy of Stardance came from a couple that I was doing a theatre production with (macbeth, I think?); they were such incredible SF fans that they kept extra copies of their favs to give out to friends. They also had a sign over their computer reading 'What Would Lazarus Long Do?'

What's the best thing about your mom?

She's never once said a word against my relationship with Cherisa. Thanks Mom~ your support means a lot to me!

What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Lunch at Chile's on Saturday! Chicken Crispers=yum. This is the bright spot in a weekend that involves nothing but packing, moving, and studying.

Whose house (besides your own) were you in last and why?

Pahoehoe's~ we picked her up and went on a picnic! Just before that, also Pahoehoe's, for her b-day party (guess who showed up randomly, iRead? AJ).

What is your definition of cheating?

• @ school~ copying the answers off of someone else, plagiarism, getting a copy of the test beforehand, writing them on your arm in some esoteric code known only to you

• in a relationship~ any sexual activity with another person that your partner is not aware of OR has not endorsed; you can have all the wacky orgy fun you want as long as your man/lady has given the go-ahead

What do you do EVERY day to take care of the earth's environment? What could you do more of?

A greener clean

Let me tell you: potty-training a puppy means A LOT of piddle cleanup, which is why I'm really stringent about the cleaning supplies we use (because there's nothing like your puppy licking cleaning spray up off the carpet). This particular brand, Petrotech, is biodegradable, environmentally friendly, smells (naturally) good, and comes in a recyclable can. (Bonus: now on sale at Petco!) I also really like Method: the day they develop a pet spray is the day I fall down and start to worship.

What one object/thing would you take if your house were on fire?

Since missgolightly and the animals don't count as "objects/things," I'd have to say my laptop, Tilly. It has almost all of my important documents, photos, files, artwork, etc. 

What is the worst date you've ever been on?

I went to coffee with a very cute guy claiming to be a Buddhist Mormon. He spent most of our time together chiding me about my ex-boyfriend (we all went to school together)! It was bizarre, mostly because if anyone's going to spend a whole date talking about my ex, it should be me, right?

EDIT: Wait, I forgot about the guy who stood me up on our first date (he "forgot" what time we were meeting), and then spent the entirety of our second date describing the intricate details of house wiring.
